Pressure relief valve

Pressure relief valve

Pressure relief valve

Pressure relief valve working principle: when pressure in the piping more than supported is, materials will be outflow form the valve to control the pressure. Needle type valve can adjust the pressure according to the length of the spring, when the pressure is higher than settled, the spring will oppressed on the opposite direction to open the sealing needle, and the materials will outflow which can protect the equipment.

Pressure relief valve is composed of main valve, needle valve, globe valve, filter and pressure gauge. Operate automatically which can be used as pressure relief valve and also be pressure upkeep valve. When acted as pressure relief valve, it can keep the water pressure under safe; when acted as pressure upkeep valve, it can keep the water pressure above settled.

Pressure relief valve can be controlled by waterpower automatically, no need other equipment or resources which has lots of function.

These serial valves are widely used in waterworks in high rise buildings, living area.

Working principle

1. As pressure relief valve: when in relief condition, water flow to the exit from needle valve, main valve controller, globe valve A, relief/up keep valve, globe valve B, main valve is open at this time. When pressure higher than safety valve, pressure relief will open automatically, some water will be discharged from globe valve C which will relief pressure in the piping. When pressure back to safety valve, valve closed. All globe valves are open when acted as pressure relief valve.

2.Acted as up keep valve: valve closed when main valve pressure is lower than settled.Main controller pressure raise, valve close. Up keep valve can open when water pressure is more than settled, water in the control room will flow to the exit from glob valve, relief valve open, supply water which keep the water pressure, globe C close or blocked up when acted as up keep valve.
